Suddenly Single
A few years ago I was sitting on a levy after
the hunt watching flock after flock hit a flooded
bean field. The whole time you could hear
duck chatter but there was one mallard hen
who just kept screaming and screaming till
she was surrounded by thousands of ducks.
After a few years of trying, I finally developed a
call that perfectly mimics the tone and volume
of that hen.
